Worked with State Representative Phil Stephenson passing 3 Bills into Law naming 3 Memorial Highways after the 3 Medal of Honor Recipients; Johnny David Hutchins, Mike C Pena and Roy P Benavidez, in Wharton County. Worked on the Valor Walk project, Worked with the East Bernard American Legion to add 15 names of Veterans that were “killed in action” to the Wharton County Veterans Memorial, recently helped out with the organization of a shelter and distribution center with the American Legion Post 87 for the flood victims in Wharton County.
